Vetcal-Pro Gel Millpledge Veterinary

VetCal-Pro Gel is a veterinary grade supplement which is excellent for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, foals, rats and mice requiring an additional source of calories without a large increase in food volume. VetCal-Pro Gel is also particularly suited for pets of all types and species in convalescence following surgery and from debilitating disease or stress. Additional instances where VetCal-Pro Gel should be used include weak puppies and kittens, an underweight puppy, kitten or pet that is not taking to its food, change of environment, feeding routine, when an animal is not eating or an ageing animal that is not maintaining normal weight very well. Ipakitine is a safe but powerful supplement used to bind phosphates, and used in conjunction with a kidney friendly diet in the management of renal failure in cats and dogs. It has been found to be extremely effective in rats, and it is now used widely. We offer you a smaller amount so that you only have enough for the one rat who needs the supplement. It can be used on wet food or mixed with Vetcal Pro-gel, Weight-Up Baby! or any other soft mushy treat. You will need one to two pinches once a day, twice a day if needed. Rat and Mouse Ground Diet

A complete diet formulated specially for rats and mice, using human food grade soya, providing a consistent source of protein. Relatively low protein levels promote longer lifespan by reducing obesity and other health problems associated with ageing. Formulated for optimum health. Suitable for all rats including those with diabetes and kidney disease.
This finely ground presentation of the diet is ideal for old and sick and post-op rats who have trouble eating solid food and thrive on a soft diet. It will provide them with the nutrients they require without causing weight gain. We recommend that fresh food such as fresh leafy green, and vegetables of varied colours is also made available when possible. This diet does not contain meat. Just mix with hot water and let cool to serve.
This food is great for rats with leg paralysis as they can eat without the struggle of sitting up and holding food. Also beneficial for elderly rats who eat dry food slowly, this is easier to eat so oldies can get their nutrients without struggling or using up their energy as they consume it. This is an excellent product which can come in handy when you have older rats (or younger ones!) who are incontinent and wet their bed. This Veterinary Bedding will keep them dry, avoiding skin irritations. Simply place newspaper underneath the piece of bedding and the urine will sink right through, the newspaper will absorb it, and the top of the bedding will stay dry. Change the newspaper daily and you have a clean and healthy environment for your bedwetters. Sold in pieces approx. 13 x 10 inches. Other sizes available on request.

The brand new Cloud bed design by TRW in purple fleece, lined in lush cream lambskin-like fabric This bed is designed to utilise some wall space in your cage. We find our rats like it hanging high up, and not too far from another bed or shelf. If you hang it low close to the floor, older rats or rats with mobility problems might find this a nice comfy retreat. There is access at the top and both ends, a bit like a modified tube. It is fitted with 3 sturdy straps and swivel clips, and measures approximately 15 inches wide by 14 tall including the clips.

Weight-Up Baby! "Morelicks" is a soothing porridge, made with 100% pure malt, chamomile and lavender. It is as usual, a high-calorie instant mush created at the Ratwarehouse to help some of our own skinny old rats keep some weight on. Full of energy and flavour, most rats find it hard to resist. When rats get fussy and start refusing certain foods, it is a great treat to have at hand. As it is so palatable and easy to eat and digest, it makes it a fantastic aid to help recovery in post-op rats who may have little appetite. Just add a little boiling water to some powder for best results. The product thickens as it cools down so you may adjust consistency with a little more water and whisk well. As this product is hand-blended, the consistency and flavour may vary from batch to batch. 100g bag - Multiples might be sent in one larger bag unless you request separate 100g bags.
